Community Air Monitoring

Sound can develop and implement plans to monitor sites for dust and Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs) during the excavation of petroleum impacted soil. Our expert technical staff provides real-time monitoring stations to measure the VOCs and particulates (i.e., dust) at upwind and downwind perimeter locations when intrusive soil activities are in progress. An automatic alarm system notifies the workers in the area so they can terminate operations to avoid surrounding area contamination. Our on-site monitoring and data collection systems ensure that work activities do not impact any off-site receptors.

Our equipment includes:

Moisture Evaluations and Mold Air Sampling
